McNab is one more action writer, SAS variety, and in some sense then, his books are like others... there are going to be bad guys, and there are going to be the protagonists who go through hell and high water to resolve the situation.

But a couple of things make McNab different from the others. Far too many other writers put their heroes into impossible situations whose resolution is so improbably we move from story telling into fantasy. McNab's characters get into all sorts of problems but none so fantastic that they cannot be resolved with cunning, intelligence, and maybe just a wee bit of luck.

The other thing that sets McNab's writing apart is that rather than setting up one big impossible situation that goes on for chapters, his characters encounter problem after problem... escaping from one, only to realize that their choice of escape has led them into another. Much more realistic.

Aggressor Nick Stone Book 8 Andy McNab bestselling series of Nick Stone thrillers now available in the US with bonus material edition by Andy McNab Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This is another story that Nick Stone gets into enough trouble to stop anyone, but manages to pull free and continue to entertain us.
I just have a very hard time with all of the F – words! I know these are rough and tumble man, but my goodness gracious we don't need to put an F word in every sentence. I did not think this book was as good as the other Nick stone books that I have red. Quizzes
Andy McNabb just leads us from one great story to another! And this one may just be the best one yet!
Great Book I have been reading all the Nick Stone Novels in order. Andy Mcnab a terrific writer. I reomemed you read them all .
I liked the Brotherhood and the strong support of each other. I did not like what happened to Charlie and would have liked a different ending. However I rated this 5 stars based on the overall story and the fact I was riveted to the book.
Good time filler read with the usual action. Enjoyed the Georgia ramblings having been there twice in the past year so I recognised the description and judgement of the place.

Surprisingly there were a few technical errors re the Landrover 110 etc but that's just me being picky.

Well worth the read as usual. Thanks. Paul - Author "The Frenchman's Daughters" WW2 action adventure.
Just to be fair, it's always good to have one positive comment before any criticism. The book was only 99 cents. There you are. Thank heavens I didn't waste more money than that on this drivel. Absolute trash.
The story starts out with what is apparently an episode in the characters "formative" years when for some unknown reason he and other Brits are at the Waco compound in 1993 for the Branch Davidian siege. The author had to have some level headed people there, Brits, of course, to offset the maniacal U.S. law enforcement officials. Total loss of credibility then ensues on the part of the writer. It is one thing to have fictionalized drama take place during a historical event, but quite another to completely rewrite and fictionalize the event. The purpose seem to be to show an unusually strong level of contempt on the writer's part for law enforcement. Perhaps he came here on holiday and got a speeding ticket that set him off, hard to say. What winds up happening is a showing of unabashed sympathy for a mass murderer, and piss on the graves of the special agents whose lives were lost in the initial raid. Oh, that's right, according to the writer the cult was well within their rights to shoot and kill law enforcement. Keep forgetting the fictionalized context of the world Mcnabb has created.
Well if you've spent your 99 cents already, I can save you some pain and suggest you use this one for kindling in the fireplace. The Stone character is as one dimensional as ever in this alternate universe.
